These new web compliance workshops were developed to provide CSUSB with updates on the recent Chancellor’s Office manual evaluation procedures. These procedures were enacted to ensure CSU compliance to Section 508 and the CO’s Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI).

Our workshops are geared towards providing web administrators and webmasters the information they need for developing and maintaining compliant administrative websites. Anyone, including staff, faculty, student assistants and past participants, are welcome to attend these new workshops.

You will learn how to test your website for compliance and use the tools we provide to overcome non-compliance issues.

Topics Covered in the workshop are:

Chancellor’s Office audit of CSUSB administrative websites
The Law–Section 508 evaluation checkpoints and ATI mandates
Annual Presidential compliance reports
How to evaluate websites and achieve compliance
Evaluation tools and checkpoint discussions
Overview of checkpoints and evaluation questions
Solutions to non-compliant issues
Web Page Accessibility Workshop for Contribute Users focuses on specific issues that relate to the software product Contribute and their compliance issues.

Web Accessibility workshops are 2 1/2 hours in length and can be located on the ACM web site, Professional Development's Schedule of Classes.
