ACM Services include... Professional Development: core competency classes, internet classes, schedule of classes.

Keeping up with changes in technology can be challenging. Our Professional Development program is designed to support faculty and staff by means of training, labs and other support services.

Standard Training

We offer a full calendar of classes each quarter on campus-supported software, the internet, web-based course development and other technological topics.

Customized Training

Customized training can be developed to suit the needs of departments or other groups. The Professional Development Coordinator is available to discuss particular instructional needs of departments or other groups in order to develop and deliver training tailored to meet your needs.

All professional development classes are available at no charge to faculty and staff at a wide variety of times and dates. Classes are offered in PL-045 unless otherwise noted in the schedule. Classes are organized into two types:

  1. Core Competency Classes
Designated to provide the skills needed to be confident using computers and standard software applications supported on campus.
  2. Internet Classes
Designated to maximize utilization of the capabilities of the Internet, including Blackboard tools for development and management of online courses.

All Training sessions will take place in PL045 and the session last for about 2hrs unless other wise noted.
