MyCSUSB Educational Programming
New to Inland Empire television, this innovative series showcases California State University, San Bernardino's wide array of opportunities to both prospective students and the community at large. Conceived and produced by CSUSB's Academic and Computing Media expert staff, each 30-minute program mines the rich academic and student resources of the campus's faculty, programs, and services in a relaxed interview format.
MyCSUSB Academics features CSUSB academic programs and faculty. Each 30-minute, in-studio segment highlights unique academic offerings at the university, as well as CSUSB's award-winning faculty members. Risa Dickson, Executive Assistant to the President, hosts such campus luminaries as Professor Jim Brown, author of the nationally-acclaimed The Los Angeles Diaries, discussing the new MFA in Creative Writing at Cal State.
Kevin Hatcher, CSUSB's Director of Athletics, explores a range of topics while hosting MyCSUSB Athletics. In each 30-minute, in-studio segment, he presents the department’s athletic programs, their coaches and outstanding students. Included in one segment will be the Coyote Girls' Volleyball coach, Kim Cherniss, and a team member, who successfully competed to the national finals level in 2008.
MyCSUSB Student Life shows focus on the wide variety of programs available to students outside of the classroom. The university's Director of Student Leadership and Development, Mark Hartley, provides a fresh and vital presence to each 30-minute, in-studio segment, highlighting the multitude of activities and services available to CSUSB students on-campus. In one show, for instance, Career Center director Carol Dixon outlines services designed for student and alumni job-seekers.
