Faculty Biography: Faculty Biography
Education: Dr. Fraser holds a Doctorate in vocal performance from University of California, San Diego, Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Toronto. Dr. Fraser has held teaching positions at the British Columbia Conservatory of Music, the University of California, San Diego and Northern State University. Dr. Fraser is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Actors Equity Association and the American Guild of American Artists.
Courses/Teaching: Dr. Fraser's innovative, modern and zany adaptations of the standard operatic repertoire include Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Mozart’s Impresario, Offenbach’s RSVP: or a Musicale at Mr. Cauliflower’s and Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte. Recent CSUSB productions include, Maria de Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla with libretto by Horacio Ferrer, La Curandera by Latin American composer Robert Xavier Rodriguez as well as the staged premiere of his monodrama Concert Suite from Frida.

In addition to directing the CSUSB Opera Theatre, Dr. Fraser also teaches Applied Voice, Diction and courses in Musicianship.
