Rule Settings (for AccVerify)

In order for us to make all our web pages compliant with the 508 guidelines, it is essential that we all run reports using identical rule settings. By having the same rules setting in AccVerify, there will be no surprises when the quarterly reports come out. To this end, we have decided to display the AccRule Settings used to run the reports.

NOTE: Beginning with the December 8, 2004 report, we will be checking for additional file types used on web pages. Most notably, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel files. This change is reflected in Checkpoint (Standard/Guideline) 6.3.8 and should be changed in your own rule settings. (If you need to download the correct viewer for the files you are using, see the section above entitled Readers and Viewers.
