Student Technician Program
General Information

The Student Technician Program (STP) hires and trains students for some of the most technically advanced and in-demand positions available at CSUSB. Averaging sixty student employees throughout the academic school year, STP is the largest single on-campus department of student employees.

The Student Technician Program supports the Department of Academic Computing and Media (ACM) and other Information Resources & Technology (IRT) departments, providing access to student jobs in network services, photography, graphic design, lab services, computer support, digital imaging, assistive technology and various other technology related fields. The program is designed to assure students both technical and professional resume building opportunities in addition to a core group of proven skills.

This campus program offers continuous paid technical training and the tools for students to manage their own advancement through the department. This website will provide and information on what it takes to be a part of the Student Technician Program, access to job applications, job descriptions, and lists of available positions and training opportunities.

Apply to be part of a program managed by students for the advancement of students.

Sincerely, Your STP Management Team
