To
use the computer, turn it on with the power button located
on the computer. Select RGB on projector remote and for
sound select CD on the amplifier. Note: You must
have a password to access the computer. Use the numeric
keyboard to enter the password.

Each
equipment cabinet provides the ability to connect a laptop
to the video projector. Located in the equipment
drawer are a monitor cable, audio cable, and internet/data
cable. Connect all the cables before you turn on the laptop.
To connect your own laptop to the campus network,
please contact Media Services.

Control
panel is used to power on and off the video projector,
and select the source displayed by the video projector.

The
lights can be controlled by a black remote control located
inside a gray box on the wall at the right of the chalk
board. Press 1 to turn all the lights OFF. Press
2 to turn on HALF the lights. Press 3 to turn
the lights on the WALLS only. Press 4 to turn all
the lights ON.

Wireless
Microphone

The
wireless microphone should be located in the top drawer
of the podium. To use the MIC, turn it on and adjust the
volume with the knob on the wall. Uses a 9 volt battery.

DVD/VCR
Player Combo
|
To
use the DVD/VCR insert the DVD or VHS tape and press "play."
Select Video or DVD/VCR combo on the control panel. Note:
If you hear a noise from the VCR, use the tracking
adjustment or channel up/down to rid of it. |
Overhead
Transparency
Projector

The
overhead is located in front of the classroom.
|
Slide
Projector
|
The
slide projector is located in the front of the lecture
hall. To use the slide projector, use the AMX remote located
in the podium drawer.

Video
Projector

Inside
the podium is the Control Panel from which you turn on
and off the Video Projector. To use the Video Projector
press the ON button, located on the Control Panel,
under the Projector. It takes a few minutes
for the projector to fully warm up. Turn off
the projector by holding down the OFF button on
the Control Panel.

Volume
and Screen Controls

Located
on the wall, to the right of the white board, you will
find two panels from which you can control the Volume
and the Electric Screen. The volume controls should be
clearly labeled. The electric screen can be raised and
lowered with the white switch.

Assistive
Hearing devices and microphones are available to students
who are hearing impaired. Please tell your students that
they can check out a device from Services to Students
with Disabilities in University Hall (UH-183).
