Volume Product Key License Installation Code (VKL). This key has multiple installations.

Vista Business Enterprise Ed. has no install code. Each liocense must authenticate of of the Key Management Server (KMS).This type of installation requires a maditory routine update to the KMS after a designated number of days.

The following information is directly from the License Rights, so please read the following information carefully!

Section 5. Distributing Media

• You may copy the acquired media from Microsoft or from the Professional Development Office
• All copies must be complete and true copies.
• You must maintain the security of any volume licensing keys restrictions, and you may disclose them only to employees authorized to engage in the installation and support of the product.
• You may not disclose volume licensing keys to faculty and staff work at home or student option users or to any other unauthorized third party.

Server Software:
The following licensing for Microsoft Server Technology is also covered under the Campus Agreement and available for use by the CSU in specific quantities. Distribution of the licenses to campuses is managed in the Office of the Chancellor Information Technology Services (ITS). Distribution of licenses is made to campus Information Technology Advisory Counsel (ITAC) members.

Although the media is on campus CSU Chancellor's Office has set up an account the we have to debit in order to receive a key code. This process takes 48hrs from the time the request is received to point of pick-up. If you need server software please fill out the form and submit your request for processing.
