Service Area Overview
The applicant should be competent in audio mixing board operation as well as Coyote Radio station equipment. Good communication skills are a must as this job requires interpersonal communication with a variety of campus and outside organizations and people. Public speaking is also something this job relies heavily on and will be a major part of promotions.
The following is a list of responsibilities for Promotions Director.
- Event Planning for Coyote Radio.
- Representing Coyote Radio at various campus events.
- Coordination of promotional events with campus entities.
- Announcing, promoting, providing music for different events.
- Working closely with the Coyote Radio staff.
- Help to train staff with using radio station equipment.
- Assist in teaching students how to promote station thru event presence.
- Overseeing every promotional event scheduled for the radio station.
- Plan out, set up, run and break down equipment at events.
The STP Area Supervisor and Coyote Radio Station Manager

Performance evaluation is done by the STP Area Supervisor in conjunction with Area Staff.
After a period of service, the Coyote Radio Promotions Director is eligible to move within other STP positions; these moves could include advanced skill level, supervisor, highly technical or managerial positions.
